Employment Law

If you own or operate a business, or are an employee or independent contractor of a business, then it is essential that you know your rights and responsibilities under Washington law. Discrimination is not something that occurs only during the hiring process, but may also occur relating to other issues of employment such as promotions, wrongful termination, benefits, and other situations.  If you have questions or concerns regarding the interpretation or enforcement of an Employment Contract, or believe that discrimination in the work place has occurred, then it is important that your best interests are adequately represented and protected. Swanson Law Firm represents a wide variety of businesses, both large and small, in the South Puget Sound area for several decades.  Additionally, Swanson Law Firm is regularly retained by independent contractors and employees of businesses to advise them and represent their interests in claims against their employers.  Our firm is committed to fairness in the workplace, and therefore represents both employers and employees.
